Licensed Funeral Director/ Embalmer:
A leading family owned funeral home in Western Kentucky is seeking a current Kentucky Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Candidate must have leadership qualities, at least 3 or more years of funeral directing experience, and the ability to work in a multi-location, team environment. The candidate’s expected responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: arranging and conducting all aspects of funeral services, embalming and excellent communication skills. Compensation and benefits are commensurate with experience.
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
· All Aspects of Funeral Service
· Working with Funeral Home Managers and owners to accomplish goals and objectives while working within company guidelines
· Assist families with the arrangement process and direct funerals
· Willingness and ability to make removals and perform preparation room duties
· Responsible for the daily delivery of goods and services to at-need families
· Willingness to assist with families/services at other facilities
· Involvement in the community to promote the growth of funeral calls
· Maintain a safe work environment
Job Requirements
· Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer in good standing with the appropriate state regulatory agency
· Must be able to work some nights and weekend shifts
· Willingness to improve customer and employee satisfaction
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Excellent phone and communication skills
· Detail-oriented, Self-starter, Good attitude
· Neat, professional appearance
